Tearjerked
The rusty broken sword, the proud exclamation
The ruined lament, the fallen killjoy
Monday morning matinee, circus of hopes and dreams
Shattered silence, screaming anger
Flagrant law abuser, biter of metal
Swallower of mice not men
Fifteen stiches it took to stem the flow
Drip, drip, drip, drip, high gloss finish

Marmite Pancakes
Maple leaves and merry go rounds
Strapped down, holding steady
Brass buttons on a warm winter coat
Folded sheets, bus stop creeper
Cotton reels and elastic bands
Curlers out and skin tight primer

Jiffy
Packed bags, solemn bow, humbled by stenciled maturity
The years have grown so fast, millisecond seconds, or so it seems
Split peas, split seams, split personality, the hair remains intact
One hundred feet and two short yards, I am spilt, trickle forth
Crossed lines, jousting knights, mossless wall, dewy bright
Cracked competition, rising damp, muffled applause
Etched bravery, cowardly advances, paper mache mask
Painted, punched, effective effervescence, ripened fruit
Rotted youth

Loosefish
Banned again, homemade pariah
Concubine, subservient mistress
Prison fodder, smash face
Unzip the bag, greatness glows
Museum ready, formaldehyde stench
Twist the cord, cut the thin white wire
Comic pose, forgotten prose
Hold it high, show its face
We were never meant, we were never planned
Rip it out, screw it up, throw it away
Let's start again, the fifteenth master plan
Flawless, practiced, gripped tight, ready
Concubine, subservient mistress
Prison fodder, smash face
Unzip the bag, greatness glows
Museum ready, formaldehyde stench
Twist the cord, cut the thin white wire
Comic pose, forgotten prose
Hold it high, show its face

Flawless, practiced, gripped tight, ready
